Changelog

Every release of Hello Board Games, newest first, described by what it does rather than by what changed in the code.

2026.10.2 — October 2026

Added

Teams. Up to four people can share one seat, each on their own phone. The money, the counters and the hands belong to the seat; each person gets their own table message and their own notices. Opening the invite of a game with teams on, you choose “Where do you sit?”: a seat of your own, or with someone. Someone who arrives after the start asks as before, and the admin lets them in as a new seat, onto a name-only seat, or into a team. The admin can take one person out of a team. A team is named after its people (“Luca & Giulia”) until the admin renames it. Teams are part of Pro.

A score sheet by hands. In a card game the first counter is scored by hands: you record a hand in one go, one number per seat or team, negatives included, and anybody at the table can do it. Whoever recorded a hand, or the admin, can correct it later. The table shows a row per hand and the totals, and 📋 in the chat sends the whole sheet. Burraco, Scopa and Scala 40 now use it. It is part of the counters, so part of Pro.

Seven new ready-made games. Catan (to 10, starting at 2 victory points), Dixit (to 30), Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, UNO (to 500, by hands), Tressette (to 21, by hands, in teams) and Scopone (to 21, by hands, in teams). Burraco and Scopa are now by hands and in teams too.

A tidier new-game screen. The games are grouped in three: money, counters, card games by hands.

Fixed

The seat limits hold when many people join at once. A game can no longer end up with more seats than its plan allows.

2026.10.1 — October 2026

Added

The first version: the bank and the scorekeeper of your board games, in Telegram. Start a game from the chat and pick what you play: the money of a classic property game, 1830, Munchkin, life points, Burraco, Scopa, Scala 40, or rules of your own. The others join from the QR code or the link; someone without Telegram gets a seat with just a name.

The bank. Every balance on a table message that updates itself, pinned in your chat. Collect, pay the bank, pay a player or everyone, ask someone for money, with a keypad that also does sums. Undo your last move within 30 seconds; the admin can reverse any move.

Counters. Levels, points or lives, with a minimum, a maximum and a goal. Munchkin keeps Level and Gear and shows Strength. Reaching the goal tells everybody at the table.

The Mini App and the web app. The same table in Telegram and in a browser, in two looks, Classic and Pedine, each light and dark: they follow your phone, or you choose in the settings.

Running the game. The admin pauses and ends it, lets late players in, plays for a seat without Telegram and can hand the role over.

Free and Pro. Free: one open game with up to 6 seats, with the bank. Pro, paid in Telegram Stars: the counters, 10 open games, 12 seats, saved rules and the CSV export.
